Nomade Films, is a Peruvian production company dedicated to producing high-quality audiovisual works with clear concepts and stories that make an impact. A decided approach to directing is what sets us apart and makes each audiovisual project the best in its class.
Nomade Films, is headed by Judith Vélez, who has over 20 years of experience in audiovisual productions. She stands out due to her cinematographic vision and her vast experience in Peru and other countries, with work that has won awards and has been distributed internationally.
At Nomade Films, we are interested in political/social issues and artistic/cultural subjects, from camps where illegal logging operations are taking place in the Amazon Jungle to the eradication of coca plants, and from the yard of a women’s prison to the great peace march in Colombia.
Nomade Films, has a staff of young bilingual professionals who make creative, innovative use of high definition/HD equipment. We provide journalistic/historical research services and produce documentaries, corporate videos and full-length films. We also work with international producers, for whom we also provide our casting and location-scouting services.
To date, we have produced over 20 documentaries and corporate videos, in addition to producing independent films. We have collaborated with important national and international television channels, such as Discovery Channel, History Channel, National Geographic, Arte Germany / ZDF and Arte France, and we have had the ILO/UN, Leo Burnett, Promperú, Prolírica, the Romero Group, Channel 2, Bliss Producciones and Devida among our customers.
